Let's Talk

Your Logo Should Be Easy to Remember

What Makes a Great Logo?

All of our logos are designed using best practices. When designing a great logo, it is important to ask these simple questions.

1. Is it Simple?

Logos need to be simple to remember so that people can recognize your brand quickly and easily.

2. Is it Relevant?

Your logo should be relevant to your brand and industry to ensure simple and clear messaging at all times.

3. Is it Unique?

Logos need to be unique so that your brand stands out from your competition which makes it easy for consumers to pick you out of a crowd.

4. Is it Scaleable?

In today's world, people will view your logo in a variety of formats and in all sizes. It is imperative to have a logo that is easily recognizable, no matter how it is viewed.

5. Is it Endurable?

It helps to have a logo that will last beyond the trends of the next few years. People trust what they remember, and when your logo changes all the time, it can create confusion and distrust.

Adaptive Design

Modern logo design needs to be able to scale in size from a gigantic outdoor ad to a small navigation bar on a website.

The Creative Process

Client Meeting

We meet on the phone or in person to learn about your business and set goals for the project.

Research

We hit the books, scour the internet, interview professionals and more to learn about the industry and your competitors. This helps us deliver the best solution possible.

Sketch

We sketch as many different concepts as possible while choosing the one that suits your needs best.

Deliver

Once everything is approved, we send all the files to you in the necessary formats to deliver your brand on any platform both digital and print.

Present

We do more than present the best concept(s) to you while explaining our process, we take you on a brand journey that will help you visualize the entire future of your decision.

Create

We take the sketches and create them on the computer. From here we can visualize how the different designs will interact in different sizes.

PRICING

HOURLY RATE x TIME TO COMPLETE + 20% = TOTAL

  • How Many Hours Does the Average Logo Take?

A professional logo design demands research, concept creation, variations, digital creation and ultimately a test of it's ability to work in multiple formats over a long period of time.

Our logo design process goes beyond just drawing a symbol and some type. When we present your logo, we take you on a visual journey that helps solidify the understanding of your new brandmark.

Currently it takes about 10-20 hours for us to create a mark we can confidently present to your business.

Please note that we go beyond just the logo design. We create a visual brand journey that helps guide you through the lens of your future customers. This in combination with post file-production which can vary depending on needs of the client.

  • Why the 20%?

Our hourly rate covers basic operation expenses including, rent, computers, cell phones, software licensing, insurance, taxes, etc.

In order for us to be able to grow as a company and make money, we need to be able to charge a buffer of at least 20% to stay in business.

  • I Already Know What I Want, Can You Just Make it for Me?

We use the creative process to ensure best practices with all logo design and development. If the logo you want created has not been through this process, we will not accept the project. This ensures a bright line and quality standard with everything proudced by Blue Mountain Digital Marketing.
